About Chainsaw Man
The story of Chainsaw Man takes place in a fictional world inhabited not only by humans but also by demons, called Devils.
Devils are born in Hell and they posses the ability to take the form and qualities of the worst human fears. Gun devils, Snake devils, Fox devils - the possibilities are truly endless. But the more common or widespread the fear, the stronger the Devil who personifies it, and vice versa.
Take, for instance, the Devil of Hell, which is one of the most powerful out there, because the majority of people are afraid of dying and going to Hell. On the other hand, Grape devils are extremely weak, as you will rarely meet someone with a fear of grapes.
